Baseball Recap: Kemper Academy Takes a Loss

Kemper Academy was the 8-4 winner over Newton County Academy when they last played one another last Saturday, but their luck changed this time around. The Rams came up short against the Generals on Tuesday, falling 14-8.

Kemper Academy saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Wyatt Williams, who scored a run while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Casen Holmes was another, scoring a run while going 1-for-3.

Kemper Academy's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Newton County Academy, they pushed their record up to 9-10 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

Kemper Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Newton County Academy, they will be playing at home against River Oaks at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
