Basketball Recap: Yelm Comes Up Short

Yelm was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss. They took a hard 63-45 fall against the Bonney Lake Panthers. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tornados this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 82-53 back in December of 2024.

Yelm's record now sits at 1-13. As for Bonney Lake, they moved to 5-10 with that victory, which also ended their eight-game losing streak.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Olympia the next time they take the court. Yelm will host Olympia at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, while Bonney Lake will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
