Robby Zimmerman posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Friday. He struck out ten batters over 6.1 innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits (and only one walk), good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He also tossed a walk, which is notable because Redondo Union is 4-2 when he allows at most one walk, but 7-8 otherwise.
