Baseball Preview: Tate Aggies vs. Charles Page Sandites
The Tate Aggies will be taking part in a tournament against the Charles Page Sandites at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Tate will aim to continue their four-game streak of scoring more runs each game than the last.
On Thursday, Tate made easy work of Fort Walton Beach and carried off a 17-5 victory. The result was nothing new for the Aggies, who have now won four matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Taite Davis and Nathan Ozuna did most of the damage at the plate: Davis scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-3, while Ozuna scored three runs while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. The dominant performance gave Davis a new career-high in hits. The team also got some help courtesy of Griffin Cook, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double.
They weren't the only ones working in the hit department: Tate kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Fort Walton Beach only managed five hits.
Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Charles Page's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They fell 9-5 to Victory Christian.
Tate pushed their record up to 7-5 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.2 runs on average over those games. As for Charles Page, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-3.
