While Ariton didn't have the best season last year (they finished 10-16), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They claimed a resounding 48-19 victory over Zion Chapel. That looming 48-19 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Purple Cats yet this season.

Ariton's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-2. As for Slocomb, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-6 record this season.
