Milton had already won five in a row and they went ahead and made it six on Friday. They came within a single point of losing the streak, but they secured a 64-63 W against the Fort Atkinson Blackhawks. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Red Hawks' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 92nd, while the Blackhawks are ranked 31st).

Milton's win bumped their record up to 14-8. As for Fort Atkinson, their loss dropped their record down to 15-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Milton will take on Waunakee at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Fort Atkinson, they will face off against Jefferson at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
