Graham-Kapowsin has gone 8-2 against Rogers recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Graham-Kapowsin Eagles will head out to square off against the Rogers Rams at 7:00 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

On Wednesday, Graham-Kapowsin came up short against Bonney Lake and fell 68-61. The Eagles were down 57-37 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Rogers). They walked away with a 78-67 win over South Kitsap on Wednesday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

Rogers' win came from a few key players Graham-Kapowsin will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Treyshawn Weatherspoon, who went 6 for 14 on his way to 24 points in addition to seven assists and six steals. His evening made it six games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ian Draper, who went 7 for 10 on his way to 18 points and eight rebounds.

Rogers was working as a unit and finished the game with 19 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in December of 2023.

Graham-Kapowsin's defeat was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-4. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.0 points per game. As for Rogers, their win bumped their record up to 3-4.

Graham-Kapowsin was able to grind out a solid victory over Rogers in their previous matchup back in January, winning 57-46. The rematch might be a little tougher for Graham-Kapowsin since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
