Baseball Recap: Eldon Comes Up Short

Eldon managed to slip by Centralia the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Mustangs lost 12-2 to the Panthers on Saturday. The Mustangs just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Eldon saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hudson Gernenz, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

Eldon's defeat dropped their record down to 8-4. As for Centralia, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-1.

Coming up, Eldon will welcome Eugene at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Centralia, they will head out to square off against Macon at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
