Soccer Game Preview: South Florida HEAT vs. King's Academy

South Florida HEAT will head out to square off against the King's Academy Lions at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both posted some lofty goal totals in their previous games.

South Florida HEAT took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They blew past Lake Worth Christian 5-0. The win was some much needed relief for South Florida HEAT as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak.

Their offense was hitting Lake Worth Christian from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal.

Meanwhile, King's Academy earned a 5-3 victory over Cardinal Newman on Friday. Given the Lions' advantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 132nd, while the Crusaders are ranked 356th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

South Florida HEAT's win bumped their record up to 2-7. As for King's Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-2-1 record this season.
