Animo Bunche is 9-0-1 against Annenberg since December of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Wednesday. The Animo Bunche Stallions will host the Annenberg Panthers at 3:30 p.m. Both teams beat their previous opponents by a single goal, so this matchup might be just as contested.

If Annenberg heads into halftime all tied up, they better play a good second half: that's when Animo Bunche took over last week. Animo Bunche skirted past Aspire Ollin 5-4. Given the Stallions' advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 530th, while the Jaguars are ranked 1136th), the result on Tuesday wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Annenberg narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past USC-MAE 4-3. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Panthers.

Annenberg is also on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 4-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 25 goals over those five games. As for Animo Bunche, their win bumped their record up to 9-4-1.
