Recap: Nezperce Nighthawks vs. Kendrick Tigers

This season hasn't been kind to the Nezperce Nighthawks, who are still winless after their fifth contest. They took a serious blow against Kendrick on Tuesday, falling 71-21. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Nezperce has scored all season.

Ralli Roetcisoender continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Kendrick, scoring 23 points along with five rebounds and three steals. That's the first time this season that Roetcisoender scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ty Koepp, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 13 rebounds.

Nezperce bumped their record down to 0-5 with that defeat, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 28.3 points per game. As for Kendrick, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Nezperce on the road again on Friday and play against Tri-Valley at 7:30 p.m. on January 19th. As for Kendrick, they will square off against Highland at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
