Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Mount Miguel). They slipped by the Sweetwater Red Devils  66-65 on Thursday. That's more bragging rights for the Matadors, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
Mount Miguel's win  was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from   Trae Williams, who  posted 12  points in addition to eight  boards and five  blocks. Another player making a difference was  Jerome Radcliff, who  put up 15 points and five  assists.
 Mount Miguel was working as a unit and  finished the game with 14  assists. That's the most  assists they've managed all season.
The  win  got Mount Miguel back to even at 4-4. As for Sweetwater,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 4-6.
 Mount Miguel and Bonita Vista will face off  at 3:30  p.m.  on Friday without much rest having both just played. Mount Miguel is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 53.6  points per game  this season. Sweetwater will take on Southwest EC in a holiday battle at  at 2:00  p.m.  on Saturday. Sweetwater is facing Southwest EC at the right time seeing as Southwest EC is stuck on  a  six-game losing streak.
