Soccer Recap: Woodson Comes Up Short

Woodson entered their contest against Lake Braddock on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Cavaliers fell just short of the Bruins by a score of 3-2. Woodson were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Lake Braddock apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Woodson's loss dropped their record down to 5-3-2. As for Lake Braddock, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-4.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Woodson is set to square off against their familiar foe Alexandria City at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Lake Braddock will challenge rival South County at 7:15 p.m. on Monday.
