Volleyball Game Preview: Chicago Marshall Commandos vs. Marine Leadership Academy Bulldogs

Chicago Marshall is 0-5 against Marine Leadership Academy since September of 2016 but things could change on Friday. The Commandos will venture away from home to take on the Bulldogs at 5:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Wednesday, Chicago Marshall came up short against Intrinsic and fell 2-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-20.

Meanwhile, in Wednesday's Canine Competition, Marine Leadership Academy didn't have enough. They fell just short of Perspectives-IIT/Joslin by a score of 2-1 on Wednesday. While the Bulldogs didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Wolves 25-13 in the first set.

Marine Leadership Academy actually scored more points across those three sets (64-63), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The final score came out to 13-25, 25-19, 25-20.

Marine Leadership Academy now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Chicago Marshall, the loss was their first at home , dropping their record down to 5-2.

Chicago Marshall couldn't quite get it done against Marine Leadership Academy in their previous matchup back in September of 2021 as they fell 2-0. Can the Commandos avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
