Garey came out on top against Duarte on Thursday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run first inning. The Vikings walked away with a 7-2 win over the Falcons. The game marked the Vikings' most dominant victory of the season.

Garey saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Isai (Santos) Salcido, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI. Those RBI were Salcido's first of the season.

The win made it two in a row for Garey and bumps their season record up to 6-12. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 4 runs in those games. As for Duarte, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 13-11.

Coming up, Garey will square off against Sierra Vista at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Duarte, they will challenge Baldwin Park at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Braves will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something the Falcons surely won't give up without a fight.
