Soccer Game Preview: Patterson vs. Gregori + How To Watch

The Patterson Tigers will venture away from home to take on the Gregori Jaguars at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Patterson is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to five goals on Saturday, they were much more limited against East Union on Saturday. They came up short against the Lancers, falling 4-1. While losing is never fun, Patterson can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 163rd, while East Union are ranked 44th).

Patterson's goal came courtesy of Octavio Sedano, which was the first he's scored this season.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Gregori). Everything went their way against Grace Davis on Wednesday as they made off with a 4-0 win. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for Gregori considering their one-goal performance the matchup before.

The victory made it two in a row for Gregori and bumps their season record up to 4-1-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those two matches. As for Patterson, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3-3.
