The Lunenburg Blue Knights are taking a road trip to square off against the Oakmont Regional Spartans at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Lunenburg is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9 runs per game this season.

Lunenburg couldn't beat Clinton on Monday even though they stacked four runs on them in the first inning. The Blue Knights fell 11-8 to the Gaels. The Blue Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lunenburg saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Chloe Koziol, who went 1-for-4 with two runs and one RBI. Julia Grebinar was another, going 1-for-4 with two runs.

Meanwhile, Oakmont Regional scored first but ultimately less than Littleton in their match on Monday. They lost 16-3 to the Tigers. The game marked the Spartans' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Oakmont Regional's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Lunenburg, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-4.

Lunenburg skirted past Oakmont Regional 5-4 when the teams last played on April 2nd. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Blue Knights since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
