Soccer Recap: Freedom Takes a Loss

Freedom managed to slip by Forest Park the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Eagles came up short against the Bruins on Thursday, falling 4-1. The game was over by the end of the first half, with no goals scored by either team from that point forward.

Freedom's goal came courtesy of Jordan Thomas, who's now up to eight this season.

Freedom's loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 2-1-1 and their overall record down to 2-2-1. As for Forest Park, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-2.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Freedom is set to take on their familiar foe Charles J. Colgan at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Forest Park will square off against rival Potomac Senior at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
