Baseball Game Preview: Chancellor Chargers vs. Caroline Cavaliers

The Chancellor Chargers are taking a road trip to face off against the Caroline Cavaliers at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Chancellor is coming into the match on a five-game losing streak.

Chancellor fell victim to Culpeper County and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They came up short against the Blue Devils, falling 15-0.

Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Caroline's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They fell just short of Eastern View by a score of 3-2. Cavaliers fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Cyclones since on Monday.

Baylor Storke made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one stolen base and one double.

Caroline's loss dropped their record down to 10-9. As for Chancellor, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-16.

Chancellor might still be hurting after the 8-0 loss they got from Caroline in their previous meeting back in March. Can the Chargers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
