            Volleyball Recap: Page Sand Devils vs. Monument Valley Mustangs        
        
		
        
        
            Page was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight  loss. They took  a  3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Monument Valley Mustangs. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Mustangs this season,  with their most recent  defeat being a  3-0  loss  two weeks ago.
 Page started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 21-25, 25-8, 25-12,  25-10.
 Jayla Tsinnijinnie paced Page's offense, picking up seven kills. Tsinnijinnie got some help from  Chloe Rivers and her ten assists.  Taylor Manygoats controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.
 Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Monument Valley to victory, but perhaps none more so than   Tatum Tom, who  had nine  digs and five assists. That's the most  digs  Tom has posted since back in September.
Page's defeat dropped their record down to 7-26. As for Monument Valley, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won nine of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-10 record  this season.
 We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Page is set to  take on  their familiar foe Window Rock  at 3:00  p.m.  on Saturday. Meanwhile, Monument Valley will  face off against  rival Ganado  at 6:00  p.m.  on Saturday.
