Volleyball Recap: Friday's Loss Ends Rich's Winning Streak

After flying high against St. Joseph on Thursday, Rich came back down to earth. The Rebels took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wasatch Wasps on Friday. The Rebels' defeat signaled the end of their nine-game winning streak.

Chaislee Leavitt paced Rich's offense, picking up four kills. Leavitt got some help from Tess Cornia and her five assists.

Rich's loss dropped their record down to 13-7. As for Wasatch, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 13-9.

Rich didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against North Summit on the 10th. As for Wasatch, they have also already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against Grantsville on the 10th.
