Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask St. Joseph Christian). They strolled past the Polo Panthers with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 40-23. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Lions as it put an end to their 15-game losing streak.

St. Joseph Christian's win bumped their record up to 2-17. As for Polo, they are on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-9.

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the St. Joseph Christian Lions duke it out with the North Platte Panthers at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. North Platte will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something St. Joseph Christian surely won't give up without a fight. As for Polo, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Wellington-Napoleon at 5:30 p.m. on February 13th.
