Volleyball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Redeemer Christian

Redeemer Christian had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Riverside Christian Wranglers with a sharp 3-0 victory. The Lions have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Wranglers, too.

One reason for the win was Redeemer Christian's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-15, 25-14.

Ella Celano had a dynamite game, getting 19 digs. Kileya Flaherty also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

Redeemer Christian was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 15 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least 15 aces in three consecutive matchups.

Redeemer Christian's record is now 15-4. As for Riverside Christian, they dropped their record down to 2-6 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Redeemer Christian will welcome Mount Dora Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Riverside Christian, they will host Countryside Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
