Soccer Game Preview: Holliston vs. Hopkinton

The Holliston Panthers will challenge the Hopkinton Hillers at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Holliston's last three matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Holliston's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 1-0 victory over Westwood. The game was the first time Holliston have beaten Westwood on their pitch since October 26, 2021.

Meanwhile, Hopkinton had to endure a three-match losing streak, but that streak is no more. They and Dedham finished up their matchup with a 0-0 draw on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for Hopkinton as the squad haven't won a game since September 25th.

Hopkinton's draw gives them a new season record of 6-5-4. As for Holliston, their win bumped their record up to 8-3-3.
