Kennett waltzed into their contest on Monday with ten straight wins... but they left with 11. They put the hurt on the Doniphan Dons with a sharp 11-3 win. Considering the Indians have won ten games by more than seven runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Emma Claire Bodkin was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Bodkin was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing a base while getting on base in two of her four plate appearances.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Lynnley Patterson, who went 1-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was Baylee Wilcut, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-3.

Kennett's victory was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-2. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Doniphan, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.

Looking ahead, Kennett will face off against Senath-Hornersville at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Doniphan, they will head out to square off against Clearwater at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
