Portland barely beat Deering the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Bulldogs took their game on Friday with ease, bagging a 34-0 victory over the Rams. The Bulldogs haven't had any issues with the Rams recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Cordell Jones had a dynamite game, rushing for 170 yards and three scores while picking up 7.7 yards per carry, and also throwing for 121 yards and one touchdown on only ten passes. Portland's leading receiver Alex Martin was Jones' top target yet again, picking up 40 receiving yards, while also rushing for 102 yards on only 12 carries.

Portland's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Deering, their loss dropped their record down to 1-2.

Coming up, Portland will be playing at home against Bangor at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Deering, they will head out to take on Lawrence at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
