Softball Recap: Fulton County Comes Up Short

Fulton County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 22-5 to the Lake County Falcons. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Falcons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-0 last Thursday.

Fulton County's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Lake County, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fulton County will venture away from home to take on Greenfield at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Lake County, they will head out to square off against Haywood at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
