With a playoff win on the line, Mariner rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Cape Coral Seahawks with a sharp 6-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Tritons, who have now won ten contests by three goals or more so far this season.

They hit Cape Coral with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Kailey Schwandner (2), Caroline Orth (2), and Kamila Pena (2).

Mariner's win bumped their record up to 18-3. As for Cape Coral, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-12-3.

Mariner will look to defend their home pitch on Friday against Braden River at 7:00 p.m. Braden River is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.8 goals per game this season. Cape Coral does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
