Softball Recap: Harford Tech Has No Trouble Against Sparrows Point

Harford Tech was not the first on the board on Saturday, but they got there more often. Everything went their way against the Sparrows Point Pointers as the Harford Tech Cobras made off with a 7-1 victory. The Cobras have beaten the Pointers the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Pointers has come to flipping the script.

Violet Mulieri was incredible, scoring two runs while going 2-for-2. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in doubles (two). Another player making a difference was Lyric Strong, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

The win got Harford Tech back to even at 1-1.

Coming up, Harford Tech will take on Dundalk at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Sparrows Point, they will face off against John Carroll at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
