Baseball Game Preview: Provo Bulldogs vs. Logan Grizzlies

For the second straight game, Provo will face off against Logan. The Bulldogs will head out to take on the Grizzlies at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Provo has six straight victories, Logan has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Provo is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They skirted past Logan 6-5.

For Logan's part, Kyler Briel made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one triple and one RBI. That triple was Briel's first of the season.

Provo pushed their record up to 17-8 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.3 runs over those games. As for Logan, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-17.
