Oswego waltzed into their contest on Thursday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Joliet West Tigers. The Panthers were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the Tigers, so the Panthers were just returning the favor.

Oswego never let Joliet West on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-18.

Among those leading the charge was Isaac Izeta, who had ten digs. That's the most digs he has posted since back in April.

Oswego was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 12 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in four consecutive matches.

Oswego's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 23-9. As for Joliet West, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 23-11 record this season.

As of now, neither Oswego nor Joliet West have any future games scheduled.
