Basketball Game Preview: Crittenden County Rockets vs. Madisonville-North Hopkins Maroons

The Crittenden County Rockets will venture away from home to take on the Madisonville-North Hopkins Maroons at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Meanwhile, Madisonville-North Hopkins blew past Webster County, posting a 70-28 victory. The Maroons haven't had any issues with the Trojans recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Madisonville-North Hopkins' victory bumped their record up to 12-8. As for Crittenden County, their loss dropped their record down to 18-7.

Crittenden County didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Madisonville-North Hopkins in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, but they still walked away with a 70-65 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Crittenden County since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
