Volleyball Game Preview: Crean Lutheran Saints vs. La Habra Highlanders

The Crean Lutheran Saints will head out on the road to face off against the La Habra Highlanders at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Tuesday, Crean Lutheran made easy work of El Dorado and carried off a 3-0 victory. The Saints have beaten the Golden Hawks the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Golden Hawks has come to flipping the script.

Crean Lutheran never let El Dorado on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-17, 25-19.

Meanwhile, La Habra played in-conference for the first time on Tuesday and got just the result they were looking for. They came out on top against Troy by a score of 3-1.

La Habra's win bumped their record up to 8-18. As for Crean Lutheran, their victory bumped their record up to 21-2.

Everything went Crean Lutheran's way against La Habra in their previous meeting back in September, as Crean Lutheran made off with a 3-0 win. Will the Saints repeat their success, or do the Highlanders have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
