Volleyball Recap: Christ the Cornerstone Academy Has No Trouble Against Varsity Opponent

Christ the Cornerstone Academy lost to Varsity Opponent last Thursday, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Defenders were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Varsity Opponent. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Defenders.

While Christ the Cornerstone Academy won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-23, 25-15.

The victory got Christ the Cornerstone Academy back to even at 2-2.

Looking ahead, Christ the Cornerstone Academy will be playing at home against Antioch Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Varsity Opponent, they have already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Lookout Valley on the 4th.
