Baseball Recap: Coolidge Colts vs. Cardozo Clerks
Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Coolidge). They came out on top against the Cardozo Clerks by a score of 12-7 on Wednesday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Colts also won the last time the pair played back in March of 2024.
Idris Mouton made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out nine batters over four innings while giving up three earned (and four unearned) runs off only one hit. Mouton was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.
