Baseball Recap: Timpview Comes Up Short

Timpview managed to slip by Spanish Fork the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Thunderbirds lost 8-1 to the Dons on Wednesday. The Thunderbirds were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Dons earlier this season, when they won 7-6.

Timpview saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tyler Weed, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Timpview has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 13 of their last 15 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-16 record this season. As for Spanish Fork, their record now sits at 9-16.

As of now, neither Timpview nor the Dons have any future games scheduled.
