After a string of three wins, Dimond's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell just short of the Bettye Davis East Anchorage Thunderbirds by a score of 3-2. The Lynx were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Thunderbirds earlier this season, when they won 6-5.

Clara Estabrook made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. Another player making a difference was Kea D'Elia, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one run and one RBI.

Dimond's loss dropped their record down to 11-7. As for Bettye Davis East Anchorage, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-2.

Coming up, Dimond will look to defend their home field on Monday against West Anchorage at 5:45 p.m. The Lynx are facing the Eagles at the right time seeing as the Eagles are stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for Bettye Davis East Anchorage, they will head out on the road to face off against Service at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
