Community Christian had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 49.8 points) and they went ahead and made it five on Tuesday. They took their contest with ease, bagging a 62-26 win over the Trinity Christian Tigers. The matchup was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Cyclones had established a 24-point advantage.

Community Christian's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Pierce Stone, who almost dropped a double-double with ten points and nine steals. The dominant performance also gave Stone a new career-high in assists (six). Sam Allegood was another key player, shooting 50% from the field en route to 13 points and seven rebounds.

Community Christian smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds every time they've taken the court this season.

Community Christian's record is now 7-1. As for Trinity Christian, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-9.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Community Christian will square off against Faith Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Trinity Christian and Thales Academy Flowers Plantation will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on the 18th.
