Basketball Recap: Central Comes Up Short

Central lost to South Haven back in December of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Raiders fell 32-27 to the Cardinals.

Central's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 3-1-1 and their overall record down to 9-4-1. As for South Haven, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Central will take on rival Flinthills on Friday. Meanwhile, South Haven is set to square off against their familiar foe Caldwell at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
