Softball Recap: Bishop McCort Crushers vs. Westmont Hilltop Hilltoppers

Bishop McCort had lost three straight at home, but on Wednesday they dropped their record down to 5-7 to make it four. They fell 4-1 to the Westmont Hilltop Hilltoppers. The Crushers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Hilltoppers earlier this season, when they won 11-8.

Belle Toth spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned runs on six hits.

On the hitting side, Bishop McCort saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lariah Myers, who went 2-for-4 with one run and one double.
