Softball Recap: Ripley Takes a Loss

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Ripley's offense. They came up short against the Itawamba Agricultural Indians on Tuesday, falling 7-0. The Tigers just can't catch a break and have now endured seven losses in a row.

Ripley saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Emma Edwards, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

Ripley's defeat dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Itawamba Agricultural, they pushed their record up to 14-1 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home.

Looking ahead, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Ripley Tigers face off against Amory Panthers at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Itawamba Agricultural, they will head out to square off against Lewisburg at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
