Basketball Recap: Chambers Cougars vs. Palisades Pumas
Chambers hasn't had quite the year their fans were hoping for to this point, but back-to-back wins may be a sign of good things to come. They snuck past the Palisades Pumas with a 44-39 win on Wednesday.
Several Pumas players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Kyra Morris, who posted seven points in addition to five assists and five rebounds. Morris has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last three times she's played. Another player making a difference was Tynilla Simpkins, who put up 13 points and eight boards.
