Volleyball Recap: Marlborough's Run of Three Straight Wins Now Over

Marlborough lost against Burroughs back in October of 2018, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Mustangs fell 3-1 to the Bears. The Mustangs' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Despite the loss, Marlborough still got an impressive performance from Tatawan Vongfak, who had 26 digs and two aces. Vongfak is crushing it when it comes to digs: she's had at least 14 every time she's taken the court this season.

Marlborough's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Burroughs, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Marlborough will square off against Notre Dame Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Burroughs, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Cleveland at 5:30 p.m. on the 26th.
