Volleyball Recap: Pelican Rapids Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Pelican Rapids was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Battle Lake Battlers, falling 3-0. The Vikings were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Battlers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

While Pelican Rapids was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Battle Lake's winning margin in every set. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-17, 25-23.

Pelican Rapids' defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Battle Lake, they pushed their record up to 4-2 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season.

Coming up, Pelican Rapids will challenge Park Rapids at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Battle Lake, they will square off against Henning at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
