Softball Preview: Hale Ray Noises vs. East Hampton Bellringers        
        
		
            
 The Hale Ray Noises will head out on the road to  take on  the East Hampton Bellringers at 4:00  p.m.  on Friday. Hale Ray is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 14.6  runs per game  this season.
 Hale Ray is is headed into Friday's   game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game  on Thursday. They took  a  16-11 hit to the loss column at the hands of Haddam-Killingworth.
  Maggie Janecek and  Fenway Jankowski stepped up to the plate in a big way.  Janecek  went 3-for-4 with four  RBI, a  triple,  and a  double, while  Jankowski  scored three  runs and  stole a base while going 3-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of  Makenzie Albert, who  went 2-for-4 with two  runs and a  triple.
 Meanwhile, East Hampton fell victim to a  tough 13-1 defeat at the hands of Old Lyme  on Wednesday. East Hampton has now  taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
 Hale Ray's loss  ended  a  four-game streak of wins at home  dating back to last season and  dropped them to 5-4. As for East Hampton, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-6.
 Hale Ray took their  victory against East Hampton  in their previous meeting  back in April of 2023 by a conclusive  11-3. Will Hale Ray repeat their success,  or does  East Hampton have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
