Volleyball Recap: San Luis Comes Up Short

San Luis was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Gila Ridge Hawks. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hawks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 two weeks ago.

San Luis' defeat dropped their record down to 1-16. As for Gila Ridge, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-9 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. San Luis is set to take on their familiar foe Kofa at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Gila Ridge will face off against rival Cibola at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
