Basketball Recap: Moorcroft's Win Ends Ten-Game Losing Streak on the Road

Moorcroft had lost four straight headed into Thursday's game, but London McCrea didn't let it get to five. The Moorcroft Wolves were the clear victor by a 49-28 margin over the Hulett Devils on Thursday thanks in part to McCrea, who went 10 of 17 on her way to 27 points and five steals. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 15.8 points per game.

The team also got some help courtesy of Ciara Fenner, who posted two points. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in assists (four).

Moorcroft's win ended a ten-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-6. As for Hulett, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Moorcroft will face off against Newell at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hulett, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Midwest at 2:00 p.m. on Friday.
