Volleyball Recap: Bear River Takes a Loss

Bear River was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to the Stansbury Stallions.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-17, 17-25, 25-21.

Despite the loss, Bear River saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Kailyn Rice had 23 digs and four aces.

Stansbury found their leader in sophomore Mckaslyn Major, who had 14 digs.

Bear River's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Stansbury, the win snapped their losing streak at six games and leaves them with a 4-9 record.

Bear River wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Sky View on the 18th. As for Stansbury, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Tooele on the 18th.
