Kimberly had already won five in a row and they went ahead and made it six on Saturday. They came out on top against the Manitowoc Lincoln Ships by a score of 2-0. The Papermakers were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the Ships, so the Papermakers were just returning the favor.

Ava Van Vonderen paced Kimberly's offense, picking up seven kills. Van Vonderen were helped by Emma Tesch and Ava Van Hammond, who contributed nine assists each. Finley Van Lannen controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Kimberly's victory bumped their record up to 26-12. As for Manitowoc Lincoln, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 17-16.

Kimberly wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Oconomowoc on the 4th. As for Manitowoc Lincoln, they will challenge Bay Port at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
