Volleyball Game Preview: Katella Knights vs. Fullerton Indians

The Katella Knights will square off against the Fullerton Indians at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Katella is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.

Katella is headed into the matchup having just suffered their biggest defeat since April 10, 2024 on Friday. They came up short against Savanna, falling 3-0.

Katella took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-20, 25-22.

Meanwhile, Fullerton came into Thursday's game having lost five straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They blew past Tustin 3-0 on Thursday. The Indians not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since February 26th.

Fullerton was especially dominant in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-10, 25-21.

Katella's loss dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Fullerton, their win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 8-8.

Katella might still be hurting after the 3-0 defeat they got from Fullerton when the teams last played back in February of 2023. Can Katella avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
